No big surprises here, but it felt right to don some seasonal festive attire to attempt a bit of work here at home ahead of Christmas. And to attend a Tae Kwon Do belt test for The Young Master later this afternoon. These events are always a reason to celebrate the hard work and focus of the various students, so why not?
Hmmm. . . I think that might be my new reply on those rare occasions when a stranger asks why I am so dressed up. Why not?

As John Burton put it yesterday:
ReplyDelete"I wear a tie at home...because...
1) I think better dressed
2) I am not a barn animal"
Agreed! Although I have met the odd horse that was pretty well groomed. I know. I couldn't pass it up. Ol' Mom always said I was easily entertained.

I also wear a tie when working from home. It just feel better when I am dressed like a grownup.
ReplyDeleteAnd complements on the great fair isle socks. I am wearing a pair with cords, tweed jacket and plaid wool tie today, all in various shades of brown and tan.
Thank you, Charlottesville! It's hard to go wrong with Fair Isle, tan, and brown.
