Today's attire, photographed while I waited an hour on the Young Master, who had an appointment two doors down. The shirt has been a regular part of the summer rotation since May 1999, when I finished graduate studies in Madison and left for Norway. The shorts about five years, and leather deck shoes since 2019.
And the pale, aging rocker bird legs? Since, oh, the mid-1960s or so.
In other news, I took advantage of their recent spring item clearance and ordered a lovely blue plaid sports jacket from J. Press yesterday. Should be here soon. Look for a photograph or two once it has had minor alterations, and I am back on campus at the end of next month.
And speaking of Norway, today is sunny, breezy, and cool here in Mid-Michigan. Dee-light-ful! Very like summer in Scandinavia and the Nordic countries. Not unlike typical September weather in this part of the U.S. either come to think of it.
