Father-Son Style. . .

  L ate yesterday (Friday) afternoon, I taught the almost 17-year-old Young Master a valuable life skill.  He learned to to make hamburger patties, prepare and fire up the Weber grill, and cook the meat to medium-well done perfection.   He has also recently asked me if we could get him a new suit since he has grown too tall for the one given to him by a family friend a year ago.   Paul currently wears a 40R (my size) in the sleeves and shoulders although the rest of him is still quite slim.   I've told him that we'll see how tall he gets in the next few months and then move forward on that. Both the Grand Duchess and I have relatives who tower well over six feet, so our progeny could also reach such heights before he finishes growing. Anyway, while we monitored the cooking hamburgers yesterday, he asked me for a new pair of leather dress shoes.  Not loafers this time but lace-up dress oxfords.   "Like yours, Dad." Good man!
